I have been married to the same guy for a LONG time ! We have 3 grown children and the 5 loves of our lives that they have given us ... 4 girls and one boy ! I have been crafting all my life and found my true addiction when I taught myself to use Copic Markers and introduced them into my card making ! I am NOT certified in the use of Copics but that doesn't stop me from creating with them ! I always been a bit of a crafting rebel and don't follow directions well !I love crafting with my hands and seldom will you find them idle as they usually have a crochet hook , knitting needles or a book in them . Exercise is not my strong suit ! LOL ! My husband and I also love camping in our RV ( weather permitting ... as in NO snow !) so most weekends from Spring to Fall you find us camped somewhere with our 3 Yorkies .... though don't tell them they aren't BIG dogs ! Hope you enjoy my little touch of my life .... the creative and the real life !

a Challenge from a friend - Move On Up

A friend challenged me to make a layout for the challenge over on Dirty Scraps : Challenge 20 If you have never been on this challenge blog then I urge you to hop on over there ...... amazing challenges that get right down to the dirt in your mind ! This was definately one of the hardest layouts I have ever made but one that fell together very quickly ! Strange as it may be ! I have to explain a bit about my layout before I post it ..... I have used very drab colors ( black and Kraft ) with a hint of RED and little bling ...... Nothing is cut neatly as this is how my heart feels .............uneven and not complete ........... but we move on day to day ..........

The journaling reads

" You are not my child but you are of my blood . We never knew you existed until you were 3 months old. We cried for you , we held you ,we SPOILED , we LOVED you ! We still do ! You were hidden from us and taken away by your Mother . She chose to take a different path for you and her . We found you but our hands were tied all for the sake of the child . We had threats made against us to stay away from you , to forget you and to move on . We will NEVER STOP LOVING YOU ! We will never fill the void in our hearts . We will NEVER STOP waiting for you to find us . We ARE YOUR OTHER FAMILY ! You are our  GRANDDAUGHTER and we will WAIT for you ALWAYS . We LOVE YOU NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE !  "

    WOWZA DONNA! that is a rawkin lo chickie! so touching and heartfelt! your design is fabulous ~ but the journaling my dear friend ~ really touches me! i pray that one day one day you'll hold the butterfly in your hand!
