About Me

My photo
BC, Canada
I have been married to the same guy for a LONG time ! We have 3 grown children and the 5 loves of our lives that they have given us ... 4 girls and one boy ! I have been crafting all my life and found my true addiction when I taught myself to use Copic Markers and introduced them into my card making ! I am NOT certified in the use of Copics but that doesn't stop me from creating with them ! I always been a bit of a crafting rebel and don't follow directions well !I love crafting with my hands and seldom will you find them idle as they usually have a crochet hook , knitting needles or a book in them . Exercise is not my strong suit ! LOL ! My husband and I also love camping in our RV ( weather permitting ... as in NO snow !) so most weekends from Spring to Fall you find us camped somewhere with our 3 Yorkies .... though don't tell them they aren't BIG dogs ! Hope you enjoy my little touch of my life .... the creative and the real life !

A Father's Day card

While trying to decide whether I felt up to actually doing anything today but sleep due to a nasty " bug " I have picked up , my Copics and stamps called to me so thought what better time to get a Father's day card done . I used the sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp challenge blog .... click here to see the sketch and the challenge ..... to create this little card . I did take a little creative license with the design by adding a flower !

The darling little stamp is by C.C. Designs and is called Pajama Olivia . She is colored with Copic markers and her sleeper was given a textured look by putting Copic blender liquid on a tea towel piece and dabbing the pink of the sleeper . It gives it a dappled look up close . The patterned paper is from Basic Grey 6X6 pad called Basics Manilla and 6X6 paper pad called Cappella . Ribbon is from SavvynSassy ribbon kit as it the flower . The little charm was from my stash of goodies :-)

Copics used !

Thanks for looking and have a great week ! Happy creating !

Congrats to Matt and Em .... and excuse for some creating

My nephew and his wife had #3 baby last week . Gabrielle Faith is my sister's fourth grandchild and third grandddaughter ...... she is catching up to us as we have 4 granddaughters and 1 grandson and  she now has 3 granddaugthers and one grandson ( She is older then me though.... my kids just started a whole lot sooner on starting their families ! LOL ) .... anyways , I am thrilled for my sister and her family as they are a very close knit family and another baby just means a little more love to go around ! I wouldn't get to meet the newest member of their kingdom until September when we make the trek down the highway for  a visit .

Well I finally managed to get in my crappy room and play a bit but it has taken me almost a week to get 2 cards done ! Still have to do the inside of one of these .....

Well being I figure my sister is going for a kingdom of little Princesses I thought I would color up a Fairytale Tilda as a congratulations card to her and her husband ( and it gave me an excuse to use this cutie ! )

I love this Tim Holtz paper stack too as it was perfect for what I had in mind ! Tilda is colored with Copics and then I used Stickles to make her shine and glitter because all little Princesses need some bling !

I love this little Tilda and she is also colored in Copics with a lot of Stickles to make her sparkle !

Have a great week everybody and I hope that I have made you smile with these cards ! I know that one family is beaming just because of Gabby !

Are we having fun yet ?

We just spent 9 days in the RV camped in our favorite spot and have left the RV " planted " down there for at least 6 weeks until DH gets holidays ( though he as a salmon fishing trip in June out of Prince Rupert he is taking ! ) and we can actually go somewhere ( depending on how he feels though :-(

Weather was a typical May in this country ... a little good and and a lot bad ! LOL ! At least we didn't get the snow that parts of PG and Northern areas got on Friday ! Dang wind was COLD though and not nice for sitting outside for the end of the week . Think we only had one campfire the whole time we were away ..... but that may have had something to do with the satellite being hooked up and hockey and a hunting channel to watch ! But then those pesky mosquitos loved me in the evening too .................. All in all , the week was relaxing . By Friday the campground had filled up and there were people and dogs everywhere .... still pretty quiet considering ! Sunday morning we decided to head home a day early ( long weekend here ) as DH wanted to wash his truck and mow the lawn . I had laundry to do and groceries to get so didn't mind .........

I did manage to color a few images while we away and here is a card I threw together this yesterday with one of the images that just cracked me up . She is by Mo Manning ( Stampavie ) and I colored her with Copic markers  .....

It is hard to see but I added Stickles ( sparkle glitter ) to her wings and on the lowers pedals . The cardstock is GEMSTONES by Co-ordinates and has a shin to it , the patterned paper is from Tim Holtz paper stack . Te velvet ribbon from Savvyn'Sassy ribbon kit and the flower from Michael's .

And here is a card I put together for our friends that are having their 40th anniversary this week

This is another Mo Manning image colored with Copics , distressed with Distressed ink and some Webster's Pages trim on BG KIOSH patterned paper . The flower is by Magnolia .

Well time to clean some pollen out of my house and clean my craft table up so I can actually find the top of it ( so I can make it messy again ! LOL )

Have a wonderful week and happy creating !

Drunken Stamper's Challenge of the week ... and an announcement

Here is my take on this week's challenge .... USE YOUR SCRAPS

This week over on  Drunken Stamper's the challenge is to use scraps of paper for your card . I personally have a large wicker basket overflowing with pieces of leftover paper so this was a fun and easy challenge to do ! The stamp is from Greeting Farms and I love the look on Anya's face ! Pretty much ays what I think of laundry ! She is colored with Copic markers . The card was all leftovers scraps and I even found some ribbon and brads thrown in the bottom of the basket so I used them too ... I don't know HOW they got in there either ! LOL ! Flowers are Prima and old stash ... think I have had them FOREVER !!! The red cardstock was run through my Cuttlebug with the Argyl embossing folder . And my favorite white gell pen ( Sakura White gell pen ) was used to finish off the card ( I can sew just don't have room to put my machine up anywhere  ! ) . Pop on over to Drunken Stampers and join in the fun ! It is a lot of fun and gets the mojo goig .

And now the challenge is posted I want to thank Peggy and Spike ( Aileen ) for having me on their DT . It has been a blast and definitely had me think outside my box on more then one occasion . With that being said , I can imagine you have figured out this is my last week of DT with Drunken Stampers as I have stepped down from the position . When I took it I had told Peggy and Spike that I would be thrilled to do the job and would give as much input as I could but once camping season starts then I would not be able to commit myself to the DT . Well camping season started a LOT earlier for us this year with the early Spring and now the RV is packed and ready to roll ! I will still be around and hope to participate in the challenges when I can . I am not sure what they have planned to fill the position but pop on over to the blog and see ... join in , have fun and mosting

Happy Creating ! Thanks again ladies for the opportunity to create and thanks to everybody for popping onto my blog to see what I have been up to ..... stay tuned I am not finished creating by a long shot as I have my Copics packed , some stamps and my paper !!!!!

Drunken Stamper's Challenge 15 ... Black and White

Good morning everybody from our sunny campsite ! It is nice to see the sun and hopefully have some heat ! No creating for me over the next couple of days as I hope to be out enjoying the campsite .

This week the challenge over on Drunken Stamper's is to create a card with no color .... just Black and White ! Check out the challenge  here . I love doing black and white cards as they seem to fall together so easy !

This is an image stamp from CTMH that I stamped and embossed . Along with some embossed paper from a DCWV stack and some pretty ribbon from Savvy N Sassy ribbon kits ( one ribbon became a handmade flower ) and the card was complete !

TFL now hop on over to Drunken Stamper's and come play ! There is no time limit on our challenges but every Saturday we start a new challenge .... so take part in old or new and I hope you find some inspiration with us !

Have a great week and happy creating !

A few fun cards

With DH gone most of the week and the weather not very nice , I managed to spend a fair bit of time in my room playing . It was a very relaxing week though I did manage to do some much needed dust bunny removal ........ just wish my arms were longer so I could actually get to the top of my cupboards ........ I am no agile monkey so don't attempt the walking on the counter tops like I did in my 30's ! LOL !

Anyways  , here are a few cards I  got done .

Tilda holding a single tulip is a Mother's Day card for my MIL And this Greeting Farms Ian was my oldest son's birthday card . All are colored with Copics and the fish charm is Karen Foster ( I think ! LOL )

I did do a couple more cards but I can't show them off yet !

I hope you all have a good week and hope the sun and warm weather finally start gracing your days . It has been cool here but at least we haven't got any snow ( unlike parts of Alberta that is ! )

Happy creating !

Just Magolila Challenge - Bev's sketch

This week the challenge on Just Magnolia is a sketch by Bev . See the sketch here and pop over and play ! You never know when that generator is going to pick your number to win !
Here is my take on the sketch ! I finally got to ink up Cherry Tilda  ......you have to love these sweet boots she is wearing !

I used this beautiful patterned paper from Magnolia then ran a strip of the paper through my lace which I topped with a rhinestone strip  . The cherry embellishements are from the same unknown source but I do believe they are Mary Englebreit from Michael's $1.50 bins !
Magnolia's Tilda and teacup were used for the stamped images .

Copics used were
E 0000 ,  E000 , E00 , E 08 , E11 , E 17 , E41, E43
R0000 , R000 , R00 , R11 , R20 , R83

Drunken Stamper's Challenge for May 1st-6th

Over on Drunken Stampers this week the challenge is to make a Mother's Day card ..... easy right ? Well there is twist to this as you have to use a picture ( or copy ) of yourself when you were a wee one somewhere on your card . Well I am not one for showing my face anywhere especially on a card ! Well after much deliberating and mucking with my Copics , stamps and papers , this is my card ( sometime it is hard to be DT and have to actually do the challenges ! LOL )

I chose to make an easle card as I think you get the whole look of the card that way when it is sitting out . I used some patterned paper from DCWV " HOME " collection , Magnolia's Christmas morning Tilda ( but I just love her and don't think she looks like it is Christmas ! LOL ). She is colored with Copics and some added sparkle with STICKLES over her dress .Tilda is really sparkly  in real life  !Martha Stewart edge punch and Nesties label die were used as well . Magnolia flowers airbrushed with Copics , some ribbons and some sparkly brads finish off the card . And yes that is me about 1958 ............................... guess I just dated myself didn't I ? LOL !

So that is my card ....... come join us and have some fun . We will be looking for you !

By the way , I LOST a lot of stuff off my laptop ( and probably have fried the laptop as well :-(   ) so this is why my photos are different then what is on the Drunken Stampers blog this week ....... I am using my son's laptop ( I detest it ! ) and my PC ( which I don't use very often any more since I got my laptop ..... ) but I miss MY laptop .......................

Have a great week and happy creating !

Stamp Shoppe ... Irma's last challenge

Over on Stamp Shoppe , our friend Irma is finishing up her Guest DT with this week's challenge with a fun Magnolia card called a special - fold card ! Read about it here . Please join us and get a chance at winning a cool  prize .......... but it is a secret ! LOL ! So , I had lots of time to play this week as DH is on a business trip ( due home tonight though ) . I have gone nowhere all week but played in my room  ! I could decide which card to put on here for Irma's challenge so I am posting 2 ! LOL !

This is a gate-fold card ( I do believe ! LOL ) as it opens two ways ( like hinges ) . It was such a fun card to do ! I used Magnolia's Bandage Edwin ( and had bought it from Heidi at Stamp Shoppe last year ) as I thought he looks adorable on the stone wall .... and so typical of a boy ... banged up and bruised ! My patterned paper also came from Stamp Shoppe and is a beautiful quality that is produced my Magnolia as well . The cardstock I used is from Stampin' Up . The sentiment comes from one of my most used and favorite sets by Stampendous called " Friendly Messages " .... as for my Copic colors .......................... Wild guess is I used E 0000 , E 000 , E00 , E 11 , E 35 , E 30 , E 08B 34 , B45 , YG 06 , YG23 , G85 , G 82 .... and probably a couple more then that ! I really have to remember to start taking photos of my pens all the time not just occasionally !This is an easle card I did with Edwin and Tilda  . The patterned Paper is BG " Green at Heart " and my cardstock was Bazzill . The flowers are Primas and I used yellow stickles in the middle of them . Punches by Martha Stewart were used for the borders and the butterflies ( which were cut from vellum ) . The tulip punchout was then colored with Copics ...... Don't you love the " kids " jumping and playing in the flowerbed ? LOL ) . Again , the sentiments were from Stampendous . Copics used .... I have no idea ! LOL ! It was a couple days ago !

Well that is it for me on my Stamp Shoppe Challenge . Come play and enjoy your weekend !

Stamp Shoppe - Old and New Challenge

I am getting in just under the wire this week for Irma's week 3 challenge over on Stamp Shoppe . Read about the OLD and New challenge here . Thank heavens  DH left earlier today for a businesss trip so I could finish this up . I would have liked to have got it in sooner but spent the majority of last week loading the RV and then we left at noon on Friday to go camping ( and freeze ! LOL ) . Needless to say , I am happy with how this card turned out and that it will qualify for old and new . One of my first purchases from Heidi at Stamp Shoppe was the watering can ( so old ) and my last purchase from Heidi was Heartbreaker Edwin ( and new ) .......... I used some new BG KIOSHI paper and some Webster's Pages trim . All images are colored with my wonderful Copics !  The sentiment is also a wonderful Magnolia stamp from Heidi's store Stamp Shoppe so pop on over to get some cute Magnolia stamps and keep an eye open on her site as the new Magnolia Ink magazine should be in the store sometime this week ...... and the Fairytale Magnolias should be in store before long !

Happy creating and have an enjoyable week  !

Drunken Stampers Challenge 13 ......... COFFEE

Well I am a day late getting this challenge on my blog and I could give you a million excuses WHY but it boils down to us heading out on the first camp of the season , freezing our butts ( it snowed in town yesterday but we just got rained on ) and a very SLOW WiFi connection so I couldn't get this challenge to post ! Okay , the truth is we were CAMPING in an RV not a tent but the connection was still terrible ! LOL ! I could have done a pre-post to blogger but it simply didn't happen with everything else that did before we left ! LOl !

So enough excuses and on to this week's challenge for Drunken Stamper's ! The challenge is to create a card COFFEE related ! Well that is an easy one right ? I KNOW I have stamps of coffee related things here but for the life of me , I have stored them SOMEWHERE and they have hidden themselves so I had to go to plan " B " which may have been Plan " A " regardless as I had something in mind as soon as Peggy and Spike told me what the challenge was . .... Here is my card and then I will tell you all about it ...........

I have this very cool paper pack from DCWV " HOME " stack that I bought at Winner's for cheap and it is a very heavy , glittery paper , both the background and the cup are cut from this stack . The cup , I freehand drew ( I shocked myself as it actually looked like the shape of a mug .... I am no sketch artist ! ) Then I added LIQUID SNOW to be froth and let it dry then heated with my heat gun ( they look like mini marshmellows .... oh well ! LOL )  . I then inked a ready made tag and hand wrote on it . The HELLO is from a stamp set by VERVE`  and then punched with a SU flower punch and then inked . Before I taped my mug down , I tried to give it some dimension by stuffing with a bit of cotton so it looks like a full cup  ...... Add some ribbon and VOILA !!!! DONE !!! For some added fun , the card can actually become a gift card holder ( that is MY Tim Horton card tucked in the top and does NOT go with the card .... just for visual purposes ! LOL )

Come join us everybody on Drunken Stampers and have a wonderful week .... and HAPPY CREATING !!!
After all this coffee talk , I am off to my kitchen to make one in my Tassimo ...................... I love my " quiet " cup of coffee in the afternoon !!!!  ( and then I going to spend a relaxing afternoon in my room playing with my inks and stamps ! )

week 6 of Savvy N Sassy Ribbon Rave challenges

Well I have completed all 6 rounds of Ribbon Rave Challenge over on Savvy N Sassy for a chance to win a year of free ribbon kits ! Well , if you are a scrapper or card makers then you KNOW this is worth more then dollars but more creativity and more playing with extra money to spend on more stamps , more ink and more ribbon ! LOL ! I haven't scrapped much in the past few years as my stamps and cards have more or less taken over my life , my room and my desk !!!

Here are the last 2 layouts I did for Ribbon Rave ....... ( I am posting these for cousin Cherylwho occasionally checks in to see what I have been up too ! Hi Cheryl , hope things are sunny and bright on the Island ! )
By the way , if you click on the photos , they get bigger if you want to look at my ugly mug ... or my journaling  ! LOL !
This was for week #5 and had to be altered ribbon and about yourself ................ bleck ! Not my favorite subject that is for sure ! I even manged to do some hand journaling on here .... something else I am not fond of . To alter the ribbon , I heated it with my heat gun for a very cool effect ..... and you can see what happens when you get heat too close to sheer ribbon .... YUPE ! It melts ! LOL !

So here is week #6

You had to use black and white and only one other color .... make WOW ribbon , journal and add a quote . I am not sure exactly what WOW ribbon is but I did make handmake all the ribbons and then pleated the stipe down the side and again ... used " lightly " heated it with my heat gun just to soften it a bit !......

So this is the last of my scrapping  for awhile as I have cards to get done . I have set up an ETSY store ( see my sidebar ) to one day HOPEFULLY sell a few of these cards that are starting to stack up !

This weekend will see taking the RV out for the first time this season ! See me smiling ? Spring has arrived here and although we were spoiled like crazy last weekend with very warm weather , it has switched again . The cooler weather , snow pellets and rain have started ( so April ! LOL ) but the trees and grass are turning green and the leaves are popping out !!! Unfortunately it will be a very quick weekend as we have to be back here early Sunday morning as DH leaves on a business trip early that afternoon ( see me smiling ? LOL )

Have a great weekend everybody and hope that you find something fun to do out in the great outdoors ! To our friends that are all away because of medical issues ( can you believe 3 of our friends have had surgery out of town in the past 3 weeks in the BIG city ? ) get better , know we are thinking of all of you and remember , the campfire is waiting for you soon !!! This weekend will not be quite the same without you all there !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheryl .......... enjoy your weekend , hugs to you and drop me a line occasionally !!!! LOL !

Drunken Stampers ...... challenge #12 ....Earth Day

this week over on Drunken Stampers the challenge is to make a project by recycling or repourposing something from your kitchen for Eartn Day . Funny , when we look hard enough what we can come up with ! Here is my take .........

I used the inside waffle wrapper from a cookie package ( and yes I ate the cookies first ! LOL ) , bread tabs stamped with Staz-On ink and then I sewed the edge of my cardstock with butchers twine . My stamped image is from HIGH HOPES and colored with Copic markers and the outside edge of image was airbrushed with Copic markers !

Thanks for looking and come join us over on Drunken Stampers as we would love to see what you come up with for this challenge !

Have a great week and happy creating !

Stamp Shoppe - Week 2 shaped card challenge

Another fun week of crafting and playing with my Magnolias from Heidi at Stamp Shoppe ! This week Irma issued the challenge on their blog to create a shaped card .... not the regular shape of square or rectangular . You can read all about the challenge here !

Well I am shaped challenged ( in more ways then one it seems ! ) but I gave this card a valiant try after all , I am game if it means winning the prize at the end of the 4th week 15% off at the Stamp Shoppe and a surprise !  So I just want everybody to know , I am totally not an artist ........ I can not draw a straight line if my life depended on it so I thought well I could draw a cloud with no problem  being there are no straight lines to a cloud ................... BAWHAAAAAA !!!!  Just thought I would tell you what that shape was before showing you the finished product ! LOL ! So here it is ...................................

I actually hand-cut four " clouds "  one out of cardstock to make my card base then 3 out of vellum which I ran the largest through my Cuttlebug with a spirals embossing folder . All vellum was then edged with Stickles to make the " cloud " glitter and give the card some dimension . The small clouds were then mounted on foam to raise them over the large cloud and Dreamy Tilda was then mounted on one of the small clouds . All edges of clouds were lightly rubbed with ink to give the cloud edges some definition .

So that is my take on a shaped card ................................

Thanks for looking !

Come join in the fun and Happy creating !

Stamp Shoppe Challenge ... Pastel card

This month over on Stamp Shoppe ( also known by us " old " regulars as Little Stamp Shoppe ) they are having a challenge over 4 weeks . Read about it here . Pastel card this week is the challenge using a Magnolia Stamp ( Heidi carries only Magnolia stamps in her shop and ships only in Canada ! ) . This months challenge has an awesome prize at the end of the month if you are interested and win ........ 15 % off coupon and a surprise in your mailbox ! Thanks Irma for hosting this great challenge and for being April's Guest DT ! Irma does the most amazing cards and definitely shows a love for the Magnolias that she uses on all her creations !

Here is my entry for this week using Magnolia " Bee " Tilda !

Tilda was colored with Copics and I used a non-traditional coloring for her ... after all the challenge was pastel colors ! LOL ! My pattern paper was from a stack in my stash  ( it is embossed and glossy but doesn't show )  and the flower was from Michael's bridal section as were the seed twigs ! Ribbon is from CTMH and " HI " from some sentiment package that I bought cheap at Zeller's !

Have fun creating this week and come join in the fun on Stamp Shoppe ( and check out Heidi's store while you are at it ! )

Drunken Stampers Challenge 11 ..... Use a magazine or newspaper for background

This weeek on Drunken Stampers was a different challenge for me ! The gist is to se use an old magazine or newspaper and create a background paper for a card . Well as I just had purchased this cute stamp from the Penny Black collection I just had to create this card .... a little tongue in cheek ( or is that just CHEEKY ! LOL ! )

If  you notice , each piece of magazine has something to do with food ! How could I resist as it seems a few of us have that " guilt " happening !

Copics were used to color the image and pink bobble ribbon came from Savvy N Sassy . Rhea puts together the BEST ribbon kits so check them out ! By the way , on the forum there they also have a Copic Club happening ... 2 or 3 Copic markers for club members at a very good price ! Check it out !

And check us out here on Drunken Stampers to join in the fun for this week's challenge ! Just hope Spike finds  here camera so we can see what she has been doing too ! LOL !

Have a great week and happy creating !

Just Magnolia ..... Punch It Out Challenge

This week on Just Magnolia the challenge is to use your punches and make a card . Of course , the main image is to be a Magnolia Stamp . Read about the challenge here . I had just finished this card and being I love my Martha Stewart edge punches I thought it would be the perfect card to enter !

I was just playing with some old paper stack by Brenda Walton and thought the flowers and dragonfly would look neat layered so I used my craft knife ( which I am not very good with ) and cut the dragonfly and flowers out of the second piece of DP . I used double faced foam to give the card dimension . The white ribbon and bobble ribbon came from a ribbon from SavvynSassy . Thanks Ali for the challenge over there to use a dimensional ribbbon on a layout or card !  I even remembered to take a photo of my markers ! Things are looking up ! LOL !

Have a great week and happy creating !

Just Magnolia .... week 40 ... Fold - It challenge

this week over on Just Magnolia the challenge is to create a card with more then one fold . Funny thing about this challenge is I had started a birthday for my DIL and had actually done 2 folds on it ! I finished up the card and then read the challenge ! Imagine my surprise when I found out what it was .... so with pleasure I show you my lastest creation and entry for FOLD-It Just Magnolia

Frontopeninginside

Magnolia's Tilda with gifts stamped in Memento ink and colored with Copic markers .The new BG DP was used ... so pretty ! Ribbon from Savvy n Sassy ribbon kits , Peggy's Pretties and beautiful Magnolia flowers finish off this birthday card ...

TFL and Happy creating !!!!!!!!

the fifth Easter bucket ... or tin pail

That was my husband Easter treat  ! He always asks me what I am making so this was a little harder to post as i couldn't get a photo of the pail until he got it ! LOL ! Nothing too elaborate for his but the image isn older Magnolia ( can't recall the name but I think it was something like Skut ) ........ so for Lisa , who asked me to make sure I post the 5th bucket .... here it is !

I have to confess , I recycled the bow off of something I received last year .... it was far too pretty to toss out !

We had a wonderful day as we drove down to see DD and her family and had lunch with them ...... a backyard wiener roast ! Not something Easter-y but so much fun to do ! Hope everybody had a great day and isn't suffering from too much turkey or ham ! I cooked ours last night so tonight it is yummy turkey sandwiches for supper .... the BEST part of the turkey ! LOL !

Happy Easter

I spent all day in my craft room on Thursday getting something done for my little peeps .... also known as my grandkids ! They range in age from 14 - 3 so I wanted to do something they would all like . I found these cute little colored buckets moths ago at Walmart and knew they would be perfect with what I had in mind .

Here are the 4 pails together . There is a fifth one too but it is a secret until tomorrow for DH ! I thought it would make a great pen holder .... for me after ! LOL ! This is Greeting Farm's Edward ( does he look like the guy off Twilight ? I wouldn't know as I have never seen any of the movies or read the books !  LOL )This is Greeting Farm's Ebony . I thought the Pink hair added to the Easter-y look ! The little boy is Greeting Farm's Skater Dude ( don't know if that is the real name of the stamp or not ! )  and then Greeting Farm's Hippy Girl . These were fun to do . Inside I stuffed cello bags with Easter chocolate eggs and Aiden will get some Diego paper and a small car in his as he really doesn't need the chocolate as  much - plus he will just help himself to his sisters ! LOL )

Well I am off to stuff my turkey and get it cooking ... a day early but that is what worked best for the crew . Tomorrow should be a relaxing day here as it will be cold turkey sandwiches and fend for yourself !!!!

Happy Easter everybody ! Don't consume all your chocolate in one sitting ... savour the moment and remember what Easter is really about !

Drunken Stampers .... Challenge 10 -

Join us over on Drunken Stampers where this week the challenge is to stamp your background to make your own patterned ( or designer ) paper . I had fun doing this challenge as I knew exactly what I wanted to do as soon as I saw the challenge . We had some beautiful weather when I made this card so it immediately made me think of camping ! DH & I love to go sit outside the RV and watch the world go by !  Unfortunately , the beautiful weather has disappeared and tonight we are getting a skiff of the horrid white stuff ! BLAH !!!!! I want Spring , green grass and a campfire ! LOL !

I thought this card would make a cute birthday card or a get well card for a friend that just had surgery ! He is our camping buddy and maybe it will help him get better sooner ! The little motor home is colored with watercolor pencils the same color as our RV .................................. fand even looks like our RV without the decal ! LOL !

Come join us on Drunken Stampers and have some fun with us ..........

Happy creating and have a great week !
